The modern kitchen still retains the native kauri flooring and polished timber benches.
It is fully equiped with gas hobs, oven, dishwasher and full laundry.
On this level there is also a dining area with a four seater antique mah-jong table and french doors opening on to a deck and bricked BBQ area that catches all day sun.
Stepping up into the open plan living area there is wood burner, comfy leather couch, TV, DVD and CD player.
The master bedroom with king-size bed has a depth of splendour from rich red walls, black velvet curtains and quality linens.
Also downstairs is the bathroom with shower over claw-foot bath and toilet.
Up the spiral staircase can be found a sunny bright loft with queen and single beds.
A continental breakfast basket is provided for the first morning, and guests can enjoy alfresco dining in the sunny courtyard where a gas barbecue is available. A full kitchen enables guests to self-cater, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away.
Manuka Cottage is a very private, quiet home away from home for both short and long term holiday accommodation.
